QS-POS Manager


The PAN Point of Sale (POS) Invoicing module combines the PAN Invoicing, Stock Control and Sales Ledger to create a flexible and user-friendly solution for retail operations where speed and ease of use are imperative.

Bar-codes are automatically scanned into the stock file. Then when invoicing the user can use the scanner to enter details on a 'one-swipe per line' method without the need for any keyboard intervention. The system then completes all the details including the stock code, units, price, any pre-defined discounts, VAT and calculates a net figure.

Within the same screen the system allows manual intervention to adjust or insert/delete invoice lines, if necessary. This for example will allow the user to manually amend a line where multiple items have been bought without the need for multiple swipes. When an item is entered the system will display the quantity in stock and warn the user if this is exceeded, ensuring you have up-to-date details at all times.

On completion of an invoice, the user enters the payment method; Cash/Change, Cheque or Credit Card details. The user saves the invoice, the system automatically updates the Sales Ledger and deducts the quantities from stock. It then prints a Cash Receipt with all invoice lines, payment details, VAT details and opens the drawer on the till.

Full audit/transaction reports can be used to reconcile the cash in the till(s), cheques received and credit card payments made, at the end of the day or on request.

The system also alleviates the user of the laborious task of manually entering new stock prices when they are received from suppliers. There is an import facility which currently imports cost prices automatically, subject to availability from the supplier. Then the system will calculate the wholesale\retail prices according to pre-defined markups, with no requirement for user intervention.

PAN Summary

The PAN Point of Sale Invoicing module integrates fully with PAN - Sales Ledger, enabling the user to keep complete control of the respective cash accounts and credit customers.

PAN - Sales Ledger contains; full open-period processing, zoom-in customer enquiries, full transaction history, powerful Sales Analysis reporting, flexible payment allocation and statements, plus many more features.

PAN - POS also integrates fully with PAN - Stock Control, which provides full statistics on stock sold and profitability on individual stock items. The system will also allow for Revaluation of Stock and Stock Re-order Levels Reporting.

PAN - Purchase Ledger will allow you to control all Purchase Orders, Aged Creditors list and produce payments/cheques to suppliers.

PAN - Nominal Ledger will allow you to integrate Sales and Purchases to produce a full set of final accounts, including Balance Sheet\Profit & Loss.
